Privacy Policy

Summary

finale is an independent open-source music player. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on servers operated by the developer. There are no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs that report on you.

What finale stores on your device

None of this data leaves your device except in the form of normal requests to the Jellyfin server you configured.

Network connections

finale only connects to the Jellyfin server you enter during setup. It does not contact any developer-operated backend, analytics endpoint, or advertising network. If your Jellyfin server is on a private network (for example, reachable only over a Tailscale tailnet), finale will not connect to it from outside that network.

What your Jellyfin server records about your activity is governed by that server's own policies, set by whoever runs it — usually you.

Third-party services

None. finale ships with no analytics, no crash reporting service, no ads, and no social or login providers.

Children's privacy

finale is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, regardless of age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
